Marilyn Popovic
Marilyn Popovic is an experienced patent paralegal and started working in the field of Intellectual Property as a Certified Patent Paralegal in 2002. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from CSUN and an AA degree in Business Administration from Moorpark College.
She has been involved with the firm for over 20 years, providing support to our attorneys and patent agents. As part of her responsibilities with the firm, she prepares formal documents for US, PCT, and foreign filings. Marilyn enjoys proofreading patent applications to prepare them for filing.
She has extensive knowledge in US and foreign patent and trademark filing and records keeping and in addition to her paralegal tasks, also oversees the docketing and calendar management for the firm.
Marilyn also prepares attorney/client correspondence and participates in the firm client/matter intake procedure. She regularly communicates with foreign associates. Additionally, she supports the accounting department with invoices and other information requested by clients.
